Another run at it. Expression needs... work. Was mostly fighting with the colours and values.

Probably put in at least 3 or 4 hours so far, but not quite sure...

Time just seems to slip away when I get going.

Done from a mirror pilfered from my mother. (The round fish shaped one on my wall would not do for this one!)

An example of how "amateur" I am, my pallet always ends up an absolute mess.

It was difficult with such small details and subtle tone and colour differences, but my mom loves it. :P

I cannot begin to capture her beauty Not through stain nor scar on the page My eyes are not strong enough, nor is my arm Even with all my heart not a fraction For she has more beauty then I can even comprehend Only a fraction can any man see For a woman's true beauty is in her heart.

This is pretty much from start to finish in 5 hours or so.
